DTM print module
for monochrome inkjet printing
Monochrome inkjet printing with industrial precision
The DTM printing module from Rinas is a universal high-speed printing system based on proven HP inkjet technology.
It is suitable for printing on paper and various plastic materials and is ideal for use in industrial personalization systems.
With up to four cascadable print heads, each with a print height of 12.7 mm, and a speed of up to 30 m/min, the DTM is the perfect complement to Rina’s LWR coding system.
Its robust design, easy maintenance, and modular expandability make the DTM print module the ideal solution for monochrome printing of cards, tickets, and labels.
Card encoding with laser precision
The DTM printing system operates autonomously with its own transport mechanism and integrated control electronics.
It enables printing of ID-1 cards and special formats with a resolution of up to 600 × 300 dpi.
The position of the print head can be adjusted precisely and easily using a positioning unit.
Control is via RS232 or Ethernet, and an integrated web server allows external management of print jobs.
Remote support is also possible thanks to VNC remote control.
A level monitor automatically stops when ink levels are low, while sensors reliably detect even transparent cards.
Technical advantages of the DTM print module
- Industrial HP inkjet printing with up to 600 × 300 dpi
- Up to 4 print heads with a print height of 12.7 mm each (cascadable)
- Self-propulsion and integrated control
- Variable printing speed up to 30 m/min
- Flexible web server and VNC control
- Automatic ink monitoring with stop function
- Printing of texts, barcodes, 2D codes and logos
- Compatible with PVC, paper and transparent cards
- Easy integration with LWR and other Rinas systems
Card encoding with laser precision
The DTM print module features powerful controller software that makes creating and managing print layouts particularly easy.
The PC software tool can be used to freely design texts, barcodes, 2D codes, and logos and link them to encoding data (magnet, chip, RFID).
The intuitive user interface allows printing and coding to be combined in a single step, minimizing setup times and sources of error.
