Card separator

Precise card feeding for every application

Rinas card separators (also known as card feeders) reliably separate cards and tickets from a stack and feed them to the next processing step.
They ensure a consistent production flow and are suitable for magnetic, chip, or RFID cards as well as paper or cardboard tickets.
Various versions are available depending on the application. Both models are controlled via the PBX electronics box and can be easily integrated into Rinas systems or OEM solutions.

PVW Card Separator

Mechanical unit for separating cards and tickets

The PVW is a compact, motorized separator for plastic or paper cards and tickets. It reliably separates data carriers individually and achieves high throughputs with low maintenance. The PVW is controlled via the PBX electronics box and can be easily integrated into Rinas encoding systems or OEM systems.

KVW Card Separator

Motorized card feeder for automated processes

The KVW is a motor-driven separator for all common card types and thicknesses. It ensures uniform card feeding.

Control is provided by the PBX electronics box, which precisely coordinates the motor and sensor – ideal for automated production lines or OEM systems.

Electronic-Box PBX

Central control for all Rinas separators and card handling systems

The PBX electronics box is the control unit for all Rinas feeding and handling systems. It controls motors, sensors, and processes and enables connection via CAN or RS232.
This allows the card feeder to be flexibly integrated into any personalization or production system.

FAQ – Separators & Card Feeding Systems

A card separator (also known as a card feeder or card feeding system) separates individual cards or tickets from a stack and feeds them precisely to the next processing step—such as coding, printing, or personalization. At Rinas, PVW and KVW separators are used in automated production lines to ensure a consistent material flow and maximum process reliability.
