The quality of the encoding and the durability of the technology are the decisive characteristics of today’s card personalization. High effectivity and optimized materials usage are also key features of slimline production.

For this reason, Rinas has incorporated the elementary SWR, with reduced throughput into its product portfolio to complement its flagship product, the HWR, with a throughput of up to 20,000 magnetic cards per hour.

Minimum set-up and service times for maximum productivity.

The Rinas SWR achieves a throughput of up to 6,000 magnetic cards per hour (cph), which is more than sufficient for many of today’s production facilities. Seamless inline card verification is, of course, standard.

The changeover between HICO and LOCO is performed quickly and simply via software. The adaptation to suit special card thicknesses can be performed either at the factory or at the customer’s site simply by exchanging the encoder and motor plate (toolless).

Different card standards (ISO7811, AAMVA, JIS) or formats (loyalty card) need to be processed? No problem - with the JIS module, which is simply screwed to the standard SWR encoder, up to three ISO7811 tracks and an opposing JIS track can be processed in a single pass. Embossed, coloured or even transparent cards are unproblematic as far as card handling is concerned.

The gift card or loyalty card option enables different card widths up to approx. 140 mm to be catered for. Simply inform us when ordering the unit of the required width(s) and we’ll adapt the unit so you can process these widths as well as the usual ID-1 sized cards.
