RINAS PCS HIGH-SPEED ENCODER

THE HIGH_SPEED ENCODER THAT REALLY IMPRESSES

The Rinas PCS not only encodes and reads amazingly quickly, it can also print cards and tickets thanks to an optional print system. With virtually all known characters and thanks to a well thought out bad/good mechanism, always with the correct numbering.

Large production runs with short conversion times.

With a throughput of up to 10,000 cards or tickets an hour and the integrated bad/good mechanism, the Rinas PCS ensures large production runs. In the LOCO sector, it can read and write up to 3 tracks synchronously. Thanks to the uncomplicated exchange of the encoding unit, conversion from LOCO to HICO and vice versa is simple and takes virtually no time whatsoever.

Intelligent and varied printing.

With the optional black/white printer, the Rinas PCS can be used to print cards and tickets. This means that even in the highspeed sector, individual printing is possible for each card such as, for example, consecutive numbering. The card can be printed over an area of up to 12.7 mm (width) and virtually all characters can be used - numbers, letters, international graphic characters, bitmaps, logos and many more. The print function can, however, not only be used in an extremely varied way, it can also be combined with the inbuilt bad/good mechanism of the Rinas PCS. This clever connection ensures, for example, that even if a card has to be rejected because of a fault, there are no gaps in the numbering.

Secure coding.

The Rinas PCS looks at the individual encoding of each single card ? the better alternative to manually operated testing of randomly picked cards. Individual types of encoding are possible without the code being revealed; checksums are calculated in accordance with all general and customer-specific standards.

Flexible use.

The Rinas PCS processes plastic and paper cards which conform to the ISO/IEC 15457 norm for Thin Flexible Cards (TFC) to a thickness of around 0.5 mm. The cards can be inserted separately or continuously using fanfolding or a roll. The card separator is adjustable and allows the encoding to be positioned on the lateral or central strip as well as in-between.
